Awards That We Give Out
(Don't look so surprised. You had to have known that we'd start handing out awards.)


These are awards given by the Bar for outstanding behaviour relating to a) Mortal Kombat, b) Mortal Kombat fanfiction, or c) humanity in general. Our first recipient hasn't won the Nobel Prize yet, but we're sure it's just a matter of time. Let's hear it for Kim-chan!


We first met (over the internet, anyway) Kim-chan in August of 2000, when she sent a small-but-cute fan email to Biku. She later joined The MK Fanfiction Club ver. 1.0 and even started to write her own fics.

However, she has become a pillar of the foundation of the Bar (we enjoy mixing our metaphors) not by authoring, but by through her unflagging enthusiasm for all of our time-wasting endevours (yep, all of them). Kim-chan's selfless heroics for the NATO project are beyond belief (and too numerous to recount here, trust us.) Needless to say, Kim-chan deserves much more than a simple graphic and a flowery speech.

Unfortunately, the only thing that we can give her right now are simple graphics and flowery speeches. So they'll just have to do until our World Domination plan kicks in.

Uh, forget we just said that.
