Thunder Poem #1
I look into her tiny face
(she's asleep, she hasn't seen me)
I wonder what will be her place
in what they call my family

Two older boys, one lost because
he won't listen to a word I say
the second disregards all Laws
so I am forced to turn away

My little girl is safe with me,
she needn't fight to win her role
she gives me her love openly
and I, at last, return it whole.

Hichan Poem #1
A little girl, with big blue eyes
(when you find her, show surprise)
if you don't, you'll hear the cries
(reward her with a few french fries)
and don't forget her family ties
(her parents utter several sighs)
Before you leave, tell yourself lies
(that you won't miss her small good-byes)

Johnny Cage Haiku #1
Loud and arrogent
very good at what he does
boy, does he know it

Johnny Cage Haiku #2
funny and handsome
a perfect movie star
(if he's not a fake...)

Johnny Cage Haiku #3
lots of one-liners
lots of action as well
and a cute profile

Yet Another Johnny Cage Haiku
Thanks to "Dragon Fist"
Johnny Cage is a star and
he likes it that way.

Another Damn Johnny Cage Haiku
Once the God of Fire
now only a mortal--but
maybe that's better.

Nova Poem #1
A quiet moment, curious reflection
on a life-time of might-have-beens
A question hangs upon the air
a vision of what she might have seen

Her true parents, happy, together
A household filled with laughter, bright
A gray despair that tugs her down:
if this is truth than what is right?

Why is it the way it was
hopelessness and fear and pain, alone
one half of a pair
Why did her mother's fire die down
beneath her father's glare?

She trusts that it has a purpose;
she believes there was a thought
that made her life the way it was
that denied her the opposite of what she got.

A stray moment of wonder, ponder,
leaves her saddened as she sits.
she knows there must be a plan
and so everything that was, fits.
